- 1 1/4 cup water warmed
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar (to make yeast rise)
- 1/4 cup "Vegenaise" OR coconut oil OR softened "Earth Balance"
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup spelt flour
- 1 tbsp dried yeast for breadmaker
- Add ingredients to breadmaker pan in the order listed.
- Cook in breadmaker at the rapid whole wheat setting, which takes approximately 2 3/4 hours.
- Remove from pan and let cool on rack before cutting with bread knife.
